If you celebrate Christmas, Reader, I know how stressful it can be. I'm already feeling anxious because I haven't started doing one thing in preparation for hosting our families on Christmas eve😫 That will be a plan and conquer day for me tomorrow! This season can be very difficult for some. It brings up family wounds. You might feel the push and pull of where you need to be and when, and what you need to do to prepare. If you're part of a blended family like me, it places extra pressure on our kids, as I see the people pleasing pressure build. For some, it reminds them of loss. And if that's you, I share my hands of healing and love with you. I think all of us right now in Australia are feeling this right now💔 I don't have all the answers, but what I do know is this.. 🙏🏻When you take are of your own emotions and wellbeing, it's easier. I have two offers for you that will help this week to help you get through these intense energies. 💫Tonight we are holding our last meditation call in The Healing Circle. We will be going through an instant calming, guided relaxation and grounding visualisation to immediately reset your nervous system to a state of calm. 👐🏻This Saturday I have two last remaining Reiki sessions available. In person at Brighton, or distance (online). It's incredible how fast a person's state can shift from stressed and anxious to calm and "floaty" (as one of my clients text me after her session last weekend!) Please reply if you'd like to take one of these up - last time this was snatched up immediately! I'd love to help you feel immediately calm either tonight or Saturday. If you are feeling worried about family dynamics, how much you need to do, and navigating busy shopping centres, maybe for the first time, this could be much easier👐🏻 Hope to see you, Reader. Sharing uncomplicated truths to encourage and educate women to embrace their healing power.
A couple of years ago, my work wife and I acquired a new speaker for the office. We had Buddha Radio playing on rotation. Nice cruisy music. Relaxed vibes. And every few songs, a little whisper would come through the speaker… “…Buddhaaaa…” This went on for months. Then one day, a colleague was standing at the counter when the whisper came through. He turned to us. “Does that happen all day?” “Does what happen?” we said. “The whispering.” We laughed. “Yeah! It goes all day.” Except… he wasn’t...
I've got something quick and easy for you today, Reader 💖 Can you actually measure happiness? It's a bit of a loaded question, isn't it? Happiness can feel so subjective. One day you’re doing okay, the next you’re overwhelmed, and sometimes you don’t even realise how much has shifted until you stop and look back. But what if you actually had a way to see the change? To have a way that doesn't rely on a therapist, or a GP, or any friends to validate your progress. In my book, The Glorious...
Last Saturday night, hubby and I were heading out with some friends to see Don’t Change, an Australian INXS tribute band. Of course, we had INXS pumping in the car on the way there 🎶🎷 Then Devil Inside came on. And just like that, I was 17 again. I started telling hubby and our friends a story I hadn’t thought about in years… I’d just finished school. I had my licence, access to Mum’s car, and very few responsibilities. Mum had been gone for about nine months by then, and for the first time...
