It’s INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS! 🩷🥰🥳 How happy do you feel today? On a scale of 0 - 10, where do you sit? Being real with yourself helps you understand where you're at on the tangible scale of true happiness. I've learned through my healing adventure that happiness isn’t something that just happens—it’s something we choose. 💁🏼♀️It’s not about perfect circumstances, or waiting for life to finally slow down (because let’s be honest, it won’t). 💁🏼♀️It’s about deciding, every day, to do the inner work, let go of what weighs us down, and give ourselves permission to feel good. Your joy is not connected to things or other people, or a job, or the new car or house. They are a temporary high. It will pass. You can feel soul-filling happiness right here, right now, if you decide to. Every moment of every day you are in control of what you focus on. Do you complain, or project your stress towards others? Maybe you ruminate about the past. All of these scenarios will hold your happiness to ransom and it's important to understand how and why. Working through these thoughts, feelings, and actions will help you take steps towards a happier life for you, and your family. 🥰Take responsibility for your happiness, and watch your life change🥰
Someone said to me many years ago, "You can have it all right now if you want." I didn't comprehend what that meant at the time. Now I understand.
